Desarae Marhofer is the founder and visionary behind Beautiful You Skincare Studio and Beautiful You Skincare Academy. Born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado, Desarae is a proud wife of 22 years to John Marhofer and the devoted mother of four beautiful children: Miranda, Myles, Mia, and Maxton.

Licensed as an esthetician since 2005, Desarae opened Pueblo’s very first skincare studio and training center in 2009, laying the foundation for what would become a thriving hub of education, empowerment, and community. Her passion for esthetics and education led her to pioneer the development of entrepreneurial estheticians across Colorado.

In 2019, Desarae launched Southern Colorado’s first “Esthetics-Only” Skincare Academy, proudly approved by the Colorado Department of Education and the Division of Private Occupational Schools. Her mission has always been clear: to raise the bar for esthetics education and elevate the beauty industry, not only locally but statewide.

In 2022, Desarae expanded that mission by opening a second academy campus in Littleton, CO—with more to come. Through her work, she has empowered countless estheticians to build successful careers and businesses, creating ripple effects of impact, confidence, and financial independence.

Steve is new to the Pueblo community. He has lived here for the last few years and has developed a love for the tight knit culture, the small business community and all things that make Pueblo so amazing & unique. Steve has an extensive background in customer service, management and marketing, he brings tremendous value to our organization, staff, students and guests.

Steve truly enjoys meeting new people, problem solving, providing outstanding customer service, and he has also enjoyed getting to learn more about the importance of self care for men, women, and children!

Steve is here to assist you in exploring the path to becoming an esthetician. He serves as our enrollment coordinator for BYSA and he is also here for our clients to respond to any feedback or concerns regarding your experience, please do not hestitate to reach out to Steve if you have questions. Meet Miranda! Miranda is the oldest Daughter of our owners, Desarae & John Marhofer. Miranda has joined our beauty team permanently as one of our skilled Licensed Estheticians and Esthetics Instructors.

Miranda was personally trained in our Skincare Academy by her Mother and Owner Desarae in 2019, so she has a wealth of knowledge in all areas of skincare and the beauty business. Miranda is confident in her role as an esthetician. She is an energectic, friendly and bubbly soul, and she has a great sense of business and customer service and the esthetics/beauty industry as a whole.

Miranda holds state certifications in brazilian waxing, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, microneedling, & lash lifting and tinting. Her specialties include Hydrafacials, microneedling and brazilian waxing. Whether Miranda is serving her clients in the treatment room or her students in the classroom, you will love getting to know her!
